HOW TO INSTALL NET2PHONE CANADA'S GOOGLE SHEETS™ ADD-ON

Our net2phone Canada Google Sheets™ add-on was created to give you a better way to import, visualize, and report on your personal or company-wide call data for actionable insights into your call history and call handling processes. This article provides a step by step guide to downloading our Google Sheets™ add-on.   

STEP ONE: INSTALL NET2PHONE CANADA'S GOOGLE SHEET™ INTEGRATION 

  1. Follow this link to the G Suite Marketplace listing of the net2phone Canada for Sheets Add-on.
  2. Click install. 
  3. Grant permissions. 

 

Or 

  1. Open a new Google Sheet™.
  2.  Click Add-ons.
  3. Click Get Add-ons
  4. Search for “net2phone Canada.” 
  5. Next to “net2phone Canada for Sheets,” click the + Free button to install the add-on.

STEP TWO: GRANT PERMISSIONS 

Allow net2phone Canada for Google Sheets™ permission to run, view, and manage your spreadsheets in Google Drive, view and manage data associated with the application, and connect to an external service by clicking Allow as per the pop-up windows.


STEP THREE: AUTHENTICATE THE APP 

  1. Click Add-ons
  2. Click net2phone Canada for Sheets
  3. Click Open.
  4. Sign in with your net2phone Canada credentials (SONAR and Insights). 
  5. Click Yes to allow access.  

NOTE: Your net2phone Canada Credentials are your extensionnumber@yourdomain, e.g., 101@ranchdigital.com and your 8 character password. 

If you are unsure of what your net2phone Canada credentials are, please contact net2phone Canada Technical Support by dialing 6-1-1 from any net2phone Canada device or by calling 877-498-3772 option 3.


STEP FOUR: CREATE A SHEET

Choose a pre-built report type, a date range, and then generate a new Google Sheet™.  

  1. In the top menu bar, click Add-ons
  2. Click net2phone Canada for Sheets
  3. Click Open
  4. In the pop-up menu on the right, adjust the requirements to show the data you want to view.

NOTE: Depending on your net2phone Canada profile, you will either have access to your call detail records, call queue records, or records of your entire company.
