An attended call transfer, sometimes referred to as a “warm” or “consultative” call transfer, allows you to introduce a call before you transfer it. When you use the attended call transfer option, it is your information that displays on the destination phone rather than the initial callers.
1. Once a call is answered, press the Transfer button or Transfer soft key during the call.
NOTE: This puts the call on hold until the call transfers successfully.|
2. Dial the extension or phone number of the intended recipient and press the Send soft key, or wait for the call to automatically connect.
NOTE: Once answered, you can introduce the call to the recipient.|
3. To complete the transfer and send the call to the recipient, press the Transfer button or Transfer soft key.
